When you’ve been a southern California photographer for as long as I have, you get to know all of the good Laguna Beach photoshoot locations. I’m such an ocean gal, I’m at the beach almost every day whether I’m working or not! So I’m always keeping up with the best beach locations. I won’t gatekeep, so let’s talk about three of them!
There’s so much to love about shooting at Treasure Island in Laguna Beach! It’s public and easy to access, which is definitely important. There are such beautiful views of all kinds – cliffs, water, rock arches, palm trees. And if you don’t want to shoot in or near the water, that’s fine! We can shoot up above by the resort, overlooking the water.
Only thing you’ll want to keep in mind with this spot is the summer crowds. Best to book a shoot here on a weekday to avoid the crowds!
Parking can be hard here, but it’s totally worth the hassle! This photoshoot location in Laguna Beach is typically more private, so you don’t have to worry too much about other people in the shot. Also, I really love the palm tree lined coves. So beautiful!
This spot is a great addition to combine with a beach session for an alternative view. It’s just down the street from the beach and has easy parking. If you’re wanting to go with more formal wear for your session, this is a great spot for those photos. Also, it can turn into date night since it’s downtown! Some of my favorite restaurants in Laguna Beach are in downtown Laguna!
It can be hard with certain beaches being private, parking difficulties, and really popular spots having lots of people around, but the good Laguna Beach photo spots are out there! I’m always happy to share things like photo locations or answer any other questions you may have about what I do, so don’t hesitate to reach out on IG – I’d love to chat!
