1. Perfect playground

Being outside allows you to be carefree and honest, which makes for the best photos. Running on the sand, splashing in the waves, collecting shells — the magic happens when I’m able to capture your family just being yourselves! This way, it doesn’t even feel like a photoshoot, which can help with the kiddos as well.

2. Golden hour

This peak lighting time doesn’t get any better when you’re at the beach. It gives an extra warmth to your photos that I absolutely love. Golden hour during beach family photoshoots is unmatched!

3. Scenic views

When shooting at the beaches in Newport, you can find a few different scenic spots for some location variation in your photos. A mixture of sand, rocks, and greenery makes for a well rounded family photoshoot. Nothing beats beach views!

Newport Beach family photoshoots can feel daunting when you have littles, but don’t worry! I have everything under control. My biggest tip for parents? Just let go — embrace the waves, splash around in the water and don’t be afraid of getting a little wet. I promise you that’s when the magic happens.
